The Thing (Ben Grimm) is a Superhero from the Marvel Series The Fantastic Four. He became The Thing by being exposed to cosmic rays while on a test flight with the other Fantastic Four members. These cosmic rays caused his body to change into a rock like form making him immensely strong, but permanently changing his appearance.
